You cannot directly share a live folder in Zapier with
someone outside your company (like a "guest") unless you add them as
a paid member to your Team or Enterprise account.
Unlike Google Drive or Dropbox, Zapier does not have a
"share link" that gives an outsider access to edit the Zaps inside a
folder. You have two main options depending on your goal:
If you want to give someone your automation setup so they
can use it in their own account, you should share it as a Template. This does not give them access to your account, data, or
folder; it simply gives them a blueprint to set up the same Zaps themselves.
1. Open your
Zap in the editor.
2. Click the Share
button (usually top right).
3. Copy the Share Link.
4. Send this link to the external person.
o What
happens: When they click it, Zapier will
ask them to log in to their account
and create a copy of the Zap. They will need to connect their own apps (e.g.,
their own Gmail, Slack) to make it work.
If you need an external person (like a freelancer or agency)
to log in and edit the actual Zaps in
your folder, you must add them to your Zapier Team.
Prerequisites: You must be on a Team
or Enterprise plan (Personal/Pro
plans do not support multiple users).
1. Invite
them to your Team:
o Go to Settings
> Members.
o Invite their email address.
o Note: On
the Team plan, you pay a base rate (starting ~$69/mo) which includes a set
number of seats (usually up to 25). Adding them may not cost extra if you are
already on this plan and have open seats.
2. Share the
Folder:
o Go to your Zaps
list.
o Find the folder you want to share.
o Click the three dots
icon next to the folder name > Share.
o Select the new member you just invited.
o What
happens: They can now see and edit the
Zaps in that folder inside your account.

Pro Tip:
If you just want to share data (like a list of leads or form entries) without giving access
to the Zaps themselves, consider using Zapier
Tables or Interfaces. You can
create a public interface connected to a Table and share that link externally
without adding users to your team.
