What should I do first after signing up for Franchise Ninja?

Getting started with Franchise Ninja is simple, but there are a few key steps to complete during onboarding to make sure your team is set up for success. To guide you through the process, we’ve created a step-by-step onboarding checklist. Download the attached document to access the full checklist and track your progress as you complete each step.


Prior to the Onboarding Call

  1. Log in and accept the Franchise Ninja Terms of Service.
  2. Add the Franchise Ninja script to the GTM or header of every Fran Dev page on your site.
  3. If needed, place the cookie consent banner on your website.
  4. Set up Facebook and/or Google conversion pixels on your Fran Dev site forms.
  5. Upload your dormant leads for Lead Reactivation monitoring.
  6. Create at least one Facebook custom audience campaign.
    1. Accept Meta Terms of Service
    2. Name the campaign - Franchise Ninja Campaign
    3. Set action as Website Visitor
    4. Assign a budget between $1,500 and $2,000
    5. Upload your ad creatives to the campaign
    6. Point destination URLs to your Fran Dev website pages containing the Franchise Ninja script.
We will connect your In-Market campaigns to Facebook during onboarding.


During the Onboarding Call

  1. Establish Franchise Ninja advertisement connectors with Meta & Google.
  2. Create your Franchise Ninja In-Market Campaign(s).
  3. Sync with Franchise Ninja custom audience lists with Facebook and Google campaigns.
  4. Confirm budget and creatives are applied to your custom audience campaign(s).
  5. Verify all destination URLs to pages on your Fran Dev site.
  6. Verify lead form ads are not being used for Franchise Ninja campaigns.

Tips for Ongoing Success

  1. Do not use Facebook Lead Form Ads.
  2. Direct ad destination URLs to pages on your Fran Dev website that have the tracking script installed. A multi-page franchise development site is required.
  3. Do not place the Franchise Ninja script on your consumer or retail site.
  4. Ad creative and content can impact results. Don't be afraid to try new concepts.
  5. Continue your existing Fran Dev marketing efforts.
  6. Do not use look-alike audiences.
  7. Do not combine your Franchise Ninja ads with other campaigns or look-alike audiences.
  8. Watch out for ad fatigue. Plan to refresh ad content and creatives every 45-60 days.
  9. Use 100% of your Franchise Ninja credits for optimal success.
  10. The Fran Dev sales cycle is long; set realistic expectations for success.
