What is Email Validation and how does it help?

Email Validation is a method of verifying if an email address is valid and deliverable.  Real-time Email Validation is built into Franchise Ninja.  After Identification, before giving the data to you, we validate each email address in real time.   We remove these five primary email types. Those are:

  • Invalid: These are the emails that we determined to be invalid. We automatically remove these. The email can be deemed invalid for various reasons, such as; mailbox not found, does not accept mail, mailbox quota exceeded, and no DNS entries.

  • Spamtrap: A spam trap, sometimes called a honeypot, will appear to be an actual email address belonging to a real person – but it isn't.  There is no charge for these, and we automatically remove these.  We have the technology to determine if certain emails should be classified as spam traps. We don't know all the spam trap email addresses, but we know many of them.

  • Complainers/Abusers: These emails are of people who are known to click the abuse links in emails, hence abusers or complainers.  There is no charge for these, and we automatically remove these.

  • Do Not Mail: These emails are of companies, role-based, or people you want to avoid emailing. They are broken down into six sub-categories "disposable," "toxic," "role-based," "role-based catch-all," "global suppression," and "possible trap."  There is no charge for these, and we automatically remove these.  They are valid email addresses but shouldn't be mailed in most cases.

  • Unknown- These emails we weren't able to validate for one reason or another. Typical cases are "Their mail server was down" or "The anti-spam system is blocking us". In most cases, 80% of unknowns are invalid/bad email addresses.  There is no charge for these, and we automatically remove these.

Our email validation ensures you have a super low bounce rate.
