What is an Active Campaign?

An Active Campaign in Franchise Ninja is a marketing or advertising campaign that is currently running and delivering ads to targeted franchise candidates.

When a campaign is active, the platform uses the configured targeting criteria, such as In-Market Candidates and custom audiences, to reach prospective franchise buyers and drive them to your franchise development website.

Active campaigns help ensure your brand remains visible to individuals actively researching business ownership opportunities, increasing the likelihood of attracting qualified prospects.

How an Active Campaign Works

Once a campaign is enabled, Franchise Ninja begins executing the campaign using the parameters you configured in Campaign Studio.

An Active Campaign may include:

  • Person-level advertising

  • Targeting In-Market franchise candidates

  • Geographic targeting

  • Campaign messaging and creatives

  • Advertising connectors (Meta or Google)

The system then delivers ads to qualified prospects who match your campaign criteria.

Your active campaigns will be located under In-Market Stage > Campaign Studio


Then, click View Campaigns 
You will then see a list of your campaigns, and click the 'pencil' icon.

You will see if your campaign is active if your campaign is toggled to "Enable Campaign."


Then, view 'Custom Audience Export Actions' to confirm if your campaign is Enabled and Active.
